Refund Policy

1. Overview

Learnbay Private Limited ("Learnbay") aims to provide every student with a high-quality learning experience. We understand that circumstances change. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted for our programmes.

By enrolling in any Learnbay programme, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Refund Policy in addition to our Terms and Conditions.

2. Refund Schedule

The "first live session" date is the officially scheduled start date of your enrolled batch, regardless of whether you attended that session.

3. Cancellation by Student

If you wish to cancel your enrolment:

1. Submit a written cancellation request to support@learnbay.co with your full name, enrolled programme and reason for cancellation
2. Your request must be received before the applicable deadline stated in Section 2
3. Cancellation is effective from the date we receive your written request
4. We may request a brief exit interview to understand your experience — this is voluntary and does not affect your refund eligibility

4. Cancellation by Learnbay

In the unlikely event that Learnbay must cancel or significantly alter a programme before it begins:

• We will notify you at least 7 days in advance where possible
• You will be offered the choice of transferring to a future batch of the same programme, switching to a different programme of equivalent value, or receiving a full refund of all fees paid

If Learnbay cancels a batch after it has begun, a pro-rata refund will be calculated based on sessions delivered versus total sessions planned.

5. EMI Arrangements

If you enrolled through an EMI arrangement with a third-party lender (HDFC Credila, Propelld, Eduvanz or bank EMI):

• Refunds will be credited to the lending institution, not directly to you
• Any outstanding EMI instalments due after the refund amount will still be your responsibility to pay to the lender
• Processing fees, pre-closure charges or other fees imposed by the lender are not covered by Learnbay's refund
• Refund timelines are subject to the lender's processing schedules, which may take 15–30 business days

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

• Admission processing fees or orientation fees (if separately charged)
• IBM, Microsoft or IIT Patna examination registration fees once paid to the respective body
• Any discount amounts applied at enrolment
• Fees for individual workshops, bootcamps or add-on sessions purchased separately
• EMI processing charges or interest paid to third-party lenders

7. How to Request a Refund

1. Email support@learnbay.co with subject line: Refund Request — [Your Full Name] — [Programme Name]
2. Include your enrolled batch name, payment receipt number and reason for withdrawal
3. Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days
4. Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method
5. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund is initiated

8. Processing Time

Once your refund is approved, please allow the following timelines depending on your payment method:

• Credit card: 5–7 business days
• Debit card: 7–10 business days
• Net banking / UPI: 5–7 business days
• EMI (via lender): 15–30 business days
• International wire transfer: 10–15 business days

These timelines are from the date Learnbay initiates the refund and may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
